Walking away from love is difficult but sometimes a necessity. Many people suffer for their craft, a reality one must endure in an effort to transcend any kind of stagnant plateau in life. To re-create your self is of the utmost importance in a world of routine and monotony. It is a pathway to growth and effervescence, often denied and/or forgotten once a person is grown, married, has a full time job, children and generally takes on the weight of multiple, location based responsibilities. Two Front Doors is a song about staring that decision in its face. Which door do you choose to walk through and call your home?? Do you rest comfortably with the recognized door?? Or, do you push yourself through the door of the unknown?? The most difficult decision of my life was walking away from that comfort. Walking away from a woman I loved deeply. I’ll always carry what we experienced with me as I continue to grow and evolve but the unfortunate truth is that even though I had this knowledge at the time… It definitely didn’t make it any less difficult or painful… -JSanti
