Right and wrong are merely perceptions of the human mind, however they are perceptions that have created tremendous debate, as well as started wars and rules within society, time-and-time again, throughout history. We all do it, some consciously and some sub-consciously but regardless, we have rules for how we want others to act and get annoyed when that manner is not followed or adhered to. The funny part is, not a single one of us has any kind of right to determine what right or wrong is, when it comes down to it. We’ve been born into a long running and long morphing system that will continue to evolve (or devolve, depending on your perception) with time. Break the Rule is a song that pokes fun at the notion that you and/or I are correct in our opinions. It’s a simple message, really: rules were made to be broken.
