Love aint’ easy, it’s as simple as that. When you love someone, you have to be able and willing to give a piece of yourself to a larger
whole. You can only hope and look for relationships that will allow you to give the better part of yourself to that larger
whole, making you even better. Unfortunately, even if you do, the larger hope is that the other person will be able to do the same.
If they can’t, you’ll usually end up watching something and/or someone deteriorate, along with the relationship. It’s
very difficult watching someone you care about, experience pain. It’s even worse not knowing what to do about it.
It’s that feeling of being powerless. It’s that feeling of deterioration. It’s that feeling of watching a ship sail away from shore.
It’s that feeling of seeing the fire go out...
